Spray a small amount of glue on the top surface of the puffy chair foam. This will prevent the batting from moving while working with the cushion. Place the first layer of batting to the foam. There are three main soft styles. The first has all the breath at the top with straight sides where everything is just batting on top. For this style, cut a rectangle or square wadding covering the top of the foam is cut in the upper edges of the foam.
The second is blow on the top and bottom with straight sides, which the batting is only at the top and bottom of the foam. Treat both sides of the puffy chair foam of the same as the first, repeating all the lower side. The third appears swollen at the top and bottom with a rounded front. Wrap the foam hitting on the upper back, over the front and bottom back of the foam.

The number of layers may vary depending on the desired final effect and value of loft wadding. When you go shopping, select a batting upper loft with a number indicating a greater thickness batting swollen. Trim the batting. Once all the layers are in place the layers cut with a pair of scissors along the contours of the puffy chair foam.
